DAB stands for Digital Audio Broadcasting. DAB is a digital radio system offering near CD-quality sound, more radio stations, additional radio and data services including a wider choice of programs, ease of tuning and interference-free reception for the listener, plus the information potential of data, graphics, and text - all of which may be expressed as XML - sent alongside the radio stream. DAB was developed by the Eureka 147 Project.
EXPWAY currently promotes the MPEG-7 XML BiM Binary encoding framework in DAB.
