Expway at Critical Communications World 2018
TCCA’s flagship industry event, which brings together Mission- and business- critical end users, took place in Berlin, May 15th through 17th 2018. CCW showcased the latest technological innovations from over 100 organizations, and Expway’s presence was largely appreciated.
Expway showed the PS-LTE community how it was leading mission critical communications towards more secure and reliable applications based on mission-critical grade and commercially proven multicast technology over 4G LTE and 5G networks.
Expway conducted an MCOP demonstration with its MCOP partners, revealed a first-in-the-market product, eBox MCPTT, and announced significant new partnerships and collaborations with Softil and Genaker.
To learn more about MCOP, the Mission Critical Open Platform project, funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), you can watch the MCOP video here.
The project aims to meet the challenges of the emerging and complex MCPTT ecosystem, and reduce integration efforts by identifying neat open interfaces between the different technologies.
Expway announced the availability of eBox MCPTT, a new product co-developed with Nemergent. eBox MCPTT is the world’s first compact, feature rich and portable platform for quickly building, validating and demonstrating Mission-Critical Push-To-Talk solutions.
Expway and Softil, a leading mission-critical communications solutions enabler, jointly announce that they have integrated their technologies to bring to market the most advanced 3GPP standards-compliant mission-critical communications voice, data and video solution.
Genaker, maker of innovative professional and secure mobile communications services for first responders, announced that it achieved the first open and standards-based integration of its MCPTT and MCVideo capabilities with a Band 31 eMBMS infrastructure provider and the Expway eMBMS Middleware.
