Expway eBox For Critical Communications
Mission-Critical Communication Over LTE Broadcast Validation
Expway eBox for Critical Communications (eBox CC) is a compact, portable LTE Broadcast platform, designed to evaluate how well mission critical communication systems correctly and reliably run over LTE and LTE Broadcast.
For Private and Public Safety Agencies
Private and public safety agencies also use Expway eBox for Critical Communications to validate their devices over LTE and LTE Broadcast and applications in a timely and extremely cost effectively manner. They validate Push-To-Talk, Group-Talk, Push-To-Video, and Push-Data delivery robustness, security and reception quality over LTE and LTE Broadcast on their devices.
How it Works
Enabling mission critical communication systems, applications and devices for LTE Broadcast is a complex, multi-step process requiring progressive network-to-device alignments with multiple debugging and verifications phases. Expway eBox for Critical Communications helps speed-up and smooth-out this process. It allows private and public safety agencies to simulate carrier-testing conditions and verify consistent priority and QoS management.
Included In Expway eBox for Critical Communications
Expway eBox for Critical Communications is a self-contained PS-LTE network. It comes with the Expway BMSC - Expway’s LTE Broadcast server software - pre-installed on a small portable hardware box, a multiband radio transceiver ready for wireless. Expway eBox for Critical Communications comes with a full set of rich multimedia mission critical communications content, including emergency video streaming (MC Video) and a set of content delivery use-cases (MC Data).
Easy to Set-up and Fully Configurable
Expway eBox for Critical Communications supports any device (TDD/FDD) and MCPTT application server or command center. It is easy to set-up and fully configurable. Various parameters can be configured (frequency, time sync, reference content samples and more) through easy-to-understand menus. There is no complexity of sourcing from a wide ecosystem and there are neither apps nor middleware to develop.
Troubleshooting and Monitoring
Expway eBox for Critical Communications comes with a log files and a log viewer to help troubleshoot and monitor your LTE Broadcast performance. Statistics such as reception report status for QoE feedback and file repair statistics for radio coverage can easily be viewed.
Expway is now offering eBox CC with a pre-integrated MCPTT server from Nemergent, in-a-box. Called eBox MCPTT, it further speeds-up time-to-market for device makers looking to validate their rugged devices for MCPTT, as well as safety agencies and application developers wishing to develop, evaluate or demonstrate MCPTT solutions over LTE.
