PS-LTE-4dExpway eBox For Critical Communications

Expway just finished a successful demonstration of the first self-contained PS-LTE network and the first LTE Broadcast enabled Mission Critical devices at the Critical Communications MENA, in Dubai, November 7th and 8th, 2016. The demo was done using rugged devices from Bittium, devices from Samsung, a drone transmitting  videos, and the Expway eBox For Critical Communications. The Bittium and Samsung devices were fitted with the Expway Middleware.

We validated our value proposition to the ecosystem and our differentiation from the rest of the market. Many companies were interested to learn about the relation between the 3GPP standards and PS-LTE. Everyone recognized that the standards for MC-Video and MC-Data will be available in Q1 2017, and should start working on PS-LTE solutions now.

We are very proud to be the first in the world to demonstrate MC-PTT, MC-Video and MC Data running end-to-end. People were astonished by the level of functionality that LTE can bring to the P/LMR and PS-LTE industry in complement or in replacement of Tetra and P25. Thanks to all our visitors who spend a long time watching and experiencing the demos. Thank you also to the Expway team that pulled long hours to put this show and demo together. Thanks also to our partners Amarisoft and Streamwide for their collaboration in building such a great demonstration!
